Toyota Motor Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the Toyota Motor stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-TM, Daily has resumed its retreating after breaking out of the trading range under the 200-day moving average MA(200) following a rise to four-month low six weeks ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below 157.02. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above the fractal high at 175.07. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (175.07) without reaching the order (157.02), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Toyota Motor

Toyota Motor cut its estimate for its global production target for 2022. Will the Toyota Motor stock price continue retreating?

Toyota Motor Corporation on Wednesday reported a 33% fall in quarterly profit. The world's biggest automaker by sales posted an operating profit of $3.56 billion (463.8 billion yen) in the January-March quarter, after $5.29 billion profit in the same period a year earlier (689.8 billion yen). The next day Toyota warned that operating earnings this year could slump by 20% "due to unprecedented increases in materials and logistics costs." On Tuesday Toyota cut its global production target for May by around 50,000 vehicles to about 700,000. The automaker said it would suspend operations on 14 lines at eight domestic factories for up to six days this month due to the COVID lockdown in China. Lower sales expectations are bearish for a company’s stock price.
