Canada’s Dollar Dropped after North American Data Readings - 4.5.2012

The loonie depreciated today against the southern peer, as data from the United Stated showed fewer workers were hired in April and Canada’s seasonally adjusted purchasing manager index fell in April to the lowest level since July 2011 – 52.7, from 63.5 in March. Pair USD/CAD rose today to the highest level since April 23 – 0.9945, compared with yesterday’s close at 0.9884.
